A detox a day keeps the plague away, or so they say. The toxin apocalypse occurs in celebrities, hypochondriacs, addicts and Denzel Washington. It’s two weeks of washin’, flushin’, colon brushin’ and pineapple tears. A detox is “good” for you – it’s more popular than green tea, Weightwatchers, Valium and Dr Oz (DAMN YOU OPRAH!).
THE Denzel Washington recently spent two weeks in “detox rehab”. He partied for a month on a yacht with his wife, “because that’s what people do” said no-one ever. Washington’s delicate colon hated the idea, but who cares what colons think? Party! Party! Party! The 59-year-old actor, who is in great shape by the way, anchored his yacht and staggered into a professional detox facility. A nutritionist, a personal trainer and a chef (random!) helped Washington recover from his overindulgent behaviour. “Thanks,” said the colon. “My pleasure,” said the star.
